The Victorinox Swiss Army "Tinker" knife (part of the package in Catalog #173 below) is one of the knives is recommended in a new book that the Boy Scouts sell, THE LITTLE BOOK OF WHITTLING by Chris Lubkemann. Chisel Set: $39.50

Photo of catalog #127 - chisel set
Chisel set, #127.

This 6-piece chisel set is made in the USA by the U.J. Ramelson Co. of Newark, New Jersey (who have been making these tools since 1937).

The set includes 2 V tools, 2 gouges, and 2 chisels (one straight and one angled). Please note that most retail stores with similar prices do not include a second V-tool, a free bench hook and a four page instruction sheet as I do!

I ship the set with a plywood bench hook as shown for added safety, 2 pieces of 2"x4" basswood for you to practice on, and an instructional sheet that covers chisel safety, use, and sharpening. You can purchase additional pieces of basswood for $0.65 each.
